The school is currently located in a difficult to access place, particularly for the children with visual or physical disabilities, as a long climb up steps and slopes of the village is involved.

We have been looking for land with roadside access for a long time and the Almora district administration has kindly identified and set aside a plot of land with roadside access, not very far from the school’s current location. An estimated cost of Rs 22 Lakhs has to be incurred for this and funds will also be needed to construct and equip a suitable building, afterwards. We are, therefore, seeking donations to a fund specially set up for this purpose.

Shri Binay Kumar Sah, a 38 year old SCM professional who works with one of the leading sports brands, hails from the small hill town of Dwarahat in Uttarakhand and is  currently living in Delhi along with family, initiated the ‘Run For Mangaldeep’ campaign to generate contributions for Mangaldeep’s Land & Building Fund.

Shri Sah has represented Team India in 24 hrs World Championship in Albi France 2019 and in 100 km World Championship at Croatia 2018 and holds the 2nd best National Soil record  for 24 hrs stadium run, 222 km (2019) and 2nd best Indian record for 100 km run in 8 hrs 2 min at Gurugram 2020, and is a winner of many prestigious ultra-runs in India, he is also a  Boston Qualifier 2020

He started  a 10 days campaign – Run For Mangaldeep (23 Aug 20 – 02 Sep 20) to raise funds of ₹ 3,00,000 for specially-abled children of “Mangal Deep Vidya Mandir”, Almora, Uttarakhand and successfully ₹ 3,09,075 Raised for the cause.
